Life, sometimes so wearying
\nIs worth its weight in gold
\nThe experience of traveling
\nLends a wisdom that is old
\nBeyond our ‘living memory’ <\/p>\n
A softly spoken prayer:
\n“It’s the journey that’s important,
\nNot the getting there!”
\nIns and outs and ups and downs
\nLife’s road meanders aimlessly?
\nOr so it seems, but somehow
\nLeads us where we need to be,
\nAnd being simply human
\nWe oft question and compare….
\n“Is the journey so important
\nOr the getting there?” <\/p>\n
And thus it’s always been
\nThat question pondered down the ages
\nBy simple men with simple ways
\nTo wise and ancient sages….
\nHow sweet then, quietly knowing
\nReaching destination fair:
\n“It’s the journey that’s important,
